Coverage and Payment
At Jura Health we want everyone to have access to Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) and the support needed when there’s a diagnosis, or a suspicion of, a rare disease. Right now, the Emerge™ Platform is covered by Colorado Health First (Colorado Medicaid), cash pay, and payable through HSA/FSA. If you need help determining if your insurance will cover our test, please contact us.
Our state-by-state Medicaid coverage efforts begin in Colorado and will quickly expand nationwide. If you are covered by Medicaid and are interested in the Emerge Platform outside of Colorado contact us. We will stay in touch and let you know when coverage is available in your state.
For patients covered by private (employer) insurance, you may be able to submit your Jura Health receipt for the Emerge Platform to your insurance provider for reimbursement. The Emerge Platform may be covered through your FSA/HSA plan. Please check with your insurance carrier for reimbursement options before initiating the test.
The Emerge Platform is available for anyone, regardless of their insurance coverage, for $2,500. This covers:
Whole Genome Sequencing with optional ACMG 78 screening
Result Interpretation
Genetic Counseling: Pre and Post-test genetic counseling. Genetic counseling is also available without testing with cash pay (credit card, HSA, FSA). If you would like to learn more, including pricing, please contact us.
